Horse owners

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

There’s an old saying.

If I was a dog, I’d want to be “so and so’s” dog.  That dog is spoiled, gets petted a lot, fed, medicines, etc.

But what about a horse?

If I was a horse, I’d want to come back as one of the old Arab’s horses.

They took the time to understand them, love them, train them, and more.

The Arabs understood horses better than most people and if you want to get a look at their understanding, I urge you to check into this Arab horse training ebook.

Anytime you get to learn about horse training information, whether you agree with it or not, you should.  You can learn from both worlds.

The thing about the Arab training though is this.  It’s time tested.  It’s proven.  It works.

Thus, if you want to learn what the Arabs knew but were so unwilling to share over the years, take a look at the maual.  You’ll be glad you did.

Want to train a horse?

The first thing you need to consider is can you spend time with them daily?  After all, you need to something with them every day - at least…something.

That may mean catching them and brushing them at the least.

But obviously, you need to do quality training with them - and by quality training I mean things that matter such as giving to the bit, despooking, leg aids, etc.

want to learn to train a horse?

The first thing to do is to understand how a horse thinks and reacts to things.  Without that crucial understanding you cannot possibly succeed with him.

Then after you gain that understanding, go out and mess with him.  Observe him.  Move him.  Lead him.   Ride him.  See what it’s all about.

Another hint is to be very observant in looking at their eyes when you work with them.  The eyes tell a LOT about what they’re thinking.

Horse Training Tips

Tuesday, June 20th, 2006

Although the Arabians knew their horses very well, horses are very well known today as well.

With that said, we recommend you check into today’s horse trainers as well because they can also teach you much.

A very informative horse training site you should look into is http://www.superstarsofhorsetraining.com

The person running the site finds horse trainers with significant credentials and gets them on film showing their techniques and secrets.

Not every trainer contacted does it.  Some refuse to share their information - but most do.

Take a look at the site and become a member - you’ll be glad you did.

One of the secrets the Arabs used to work with horses is careful movements around.  nothing sudden or jerky.  Just deliberate, not so fast movement.

Fast movement will spawn a horse to move fast and get scared.  Slow movement gives it more confidence.

So if you have a new horse that’s nervous and doesn’t know what to make of you, start with slow movements and build his trust and confidence of you.

Arabian horse training

Thursday, June 15th, 2006

When we talk about Arabian horse training, we are not talking about training Arabian horses.

Even so, this knowledge can (and should) be applied to Arabian horses.

To have a horse that you can call from a herd that comes running to is amazing - and the ancient arabs knew what to do.

Grab this ebook now and study how they did it.

Is Arabian horse training that different

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

There’s a question of whether or not the Arabians were better trainers than say trainers of today.

I can’t say for sure who was best.  The way I see it, if a trainer gets the results he wants and his horse isn’t abused from it, then what does it matter.

On the other hand, the Arabians knew a few insider secrets that others didn’t.  After all, the Arabians shared their tents with the horses.  The horses were every bit a part of the family as the children and wife.  There was obviously an enormous love and respect for the animal.  The Arabians are definitely a rare breed in that instance.

Horse training videos

Wouldn’t it be nice to see a video of how these Arabian masters trained their horses?

After all, can imagine having a horse so tuned into you that they are like a guard dog.

There’s a story of the Arabians having to stop for rest in the desert.  Their trusty steed would stand by them and neigh if man or beast approached.
